WILBRAHAM, Mass. (AP) — Police have identified the 7-year-old girl who drowned in a backyard pool at a Wilbraham home over the weekend.

Sgt. David Carr said Monday that Estefani Alfaro was found in the pool at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. After responding authorities tried CPR at the scene, she was taken to Baystate Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Carr tells WWLP-TV (http://bit.ly/16JGkpm ) the drowning is considered at accident.

The girl did not live at the home, but she and her mother were visiting from Springfield.
