WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Brian Arnold Ricketts, 60, was arrested Aug. 20 in the 1300 block of Riverview Drive on an outstanding California fugitive from justice felony warrant. He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

SHOPLIFTING/DRUGS/RESISTING ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY — Jessica Dawn Pratt, 38, was arrested Aug. 20 after police responded to an area near Walmart, 2840 Highway 95, for a report of a shoplifter who had run from the store. Pratt, who reportedly matched the description of the shoplifter, was spotted in the 2600 block of Highway 95. Police said she ran from an officer when he advised her that she was being detained for a shoplifting investigation. Pratt darted across busy traffic on the highway, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said, and was contacted again in the 1400 block of Horseshoe Lane. In her possession, police reportedly found hypodermic needles, a meth pipe containing some methamphetamine and some heroin on a spoon. She was booked on suspicion of shoplifting, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of narcotic drugs. Pratt was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. Store employees reported that she stole a set of dishes and a pan set, with a total value of $148, Fromelt said. The dish set was recovered but the pan set was not found.

TRESPASSING, BULLHEAD CITY — Rocky Wayne McCard, 25, was arrested Aug. 21 after a resident of the 1900 block of Rio Vista Road reported that an unknown man came into her residence. She started screaming, Fromelt said, and her boyfriend detained the man, later identified as McCard. McCard reportedly came into the residence, appearing to be under the influence of drugs, and was asking for his dad. No one in the residence knew who he was, Fromelt said. He was booked on suspicion of trespassing and taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, BULLHEAD CITY — Rafael Carrasquillo, 48, was arrested Aug. 21 in the 1700 block of Colorado Boulevard after reportedly yelling profanities and throwing things inside a residence. He was booked on suspicion of disorderly conduct and taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
