WVC BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Kranson Leads Wyoming Area's Rally

At Wyoming Area, Aleah Kranson scored a game-high 23 points, and made 7 of 8 free throws in the pivotal fourth quarter as Wyoming Area’s girls edged GAR, 56-54.

Wyoming Area trailed by four entering the fourth quater.

Nicole Silinskie finished with 15 points for the Warriors, while Mackenzie Nocchi and Jessica Davis each had four.

Gloria Adjayi led GAR with 16 points. Olivia Prato scored 13, with Vanessa Luna adding seven.

At Holy Redeemer, Cameron Marcinkowski and Samantha Yencha each scored 19 points, and Holy Redeemer’s girls raced out to a big first quarter lead and never looked back in a 63-25 win over Hanover Area.

Julia Andrejko scored 10 points for Redeemer, while Karissa Spade added eight. The 19 points tied a season-high for Marcinkowski.

Sara Whitesell led Hanover Area with 10 points. Madison Hooper chipped in with eight.
