Get glowing with the Glow Run 2018 at King’s Daughters Friday

Whether your idea is to tie a couple of glow sticks to your running shoes, or go full-out with body paint and glowing accessories, it’s time to get your glow on for the 2018 Glow Fun Run/Walk, 9 p.m. Friday, July 27, at King’s Daughters Outpatient Services Center, located at 480 23rd St., Ashland.

The fund-raiser is sponsored by the orthopedics/sports medicine practices of King’s Daughters and Marshall Health. The Glow Run is an opportunity to join with 700 of your closest friends and relatives in supporting free baseline concussion testing for athletes in local area schools. Participants receive a specially designed, glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, glow bracelets and necklaces, and glow paint. They will be splashed with brightly colored glow powder and illuminated by black lights. If you’re not into the powder thing, no problem. Powder throws can be avoided!

Cost for individual participants is $20 when registered by Thursday, July 26. Day of race registration is $25. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250. There are four ways to register:
