CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) _ Danielle Egan scored 47 seconds into the game and Paige Coley scored 28 seconds into the second half as North Carolina beat Wisconsin 3-1 Sunday night and won its sixth straight NCAA women's soccer title.

North Carolina (24-0), which outshot the Badgers 19-2, has won the title in nine of the last 10 seasons.

Egan's shot deflected into the net when Wisconsin goalkeeper Heather Taggart and defender Tanya Russ collided.

Stacey Blazo moved in on three defenders at the start of the second half and the ball was knocked loose by Taggart. But Coley picked up the loose ball and scored from 20 yards out.

Wisconsin (17-3) closed to 2-1 in the 56th minute on a penalty kick by Kari Maijala. Tisha Venturini scored on a full volley from 14 yards in the 62nd minute off a pass from Pam Kalinoski.
