Glide blows out Rogue River, 64-8

October 6, 2018

ROGUE RIVER — The Glide Wildcats cruised to an easy road victory as they blew out Rogue River, 64-8, on Friday in a Special District 5 football game.

The Wildcats (5-1, 2-0 District 5) pounded the ball on the ground to the tune of nine rushing touchdowns.

Zach Holland had 17 carries for 207 yards and four touchdowns. Wyatt Estrada had 16 carries for 110 yards and three touchdowns. Gio Allison had five carries for 56 yards and three touchdowns.

“Zach Holland played lights out tonight. He played defensive corner and stopped them cold on defense,” Glide coach Jody Doty said. “Wyatt Estrada played really well at linebacker and our line played a solid game stopping their run. They only scored on our kickoff team. They ended up with negative yards running the ball. The team did a good job tonight, I was happy with how they performed.”

Glide plays Lost River next Friday at home.
