FLEMINGTON, N.J. (AP) — A New Jersey doctor has voluntarily surrendered his license that allows him to write prescriptions after he was found guilty of indiscriminate prescribing.

The Hunterdon County prosecutor says Dr. Jay Kuris of Flemington is not allowed to prescribe controlled substances until he meets responsibilities set out by regulators.

Kuris cannot direct any other health professional to prescribe controlled dangerous substances to his patients.
