Drug investigators in Kearney arrested two people Friday after finding nearly five pounds of methamphetamine in a home on the south side of the city, a Nebraska State Patrol spokesman said.

Hannah Pauly, 23, and Jose Luis Santos-Zepeda, 19, were arrested on suspicion of possession of meth with intent to deliver, according to jail records.

Investigators with the Central Nebraska Drug and Safe Streets Task Force found the two and 4.93 pounds inside the home at 12 W. 10th St., Cody Thomas of the State Patrol said in a news release Monday.

Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol, Kearney Police Department and Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office conducted the operation, the release said.
