DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) _ Narcisse Ewodo scored a game-high 24 points Saturday night to lead Davidson to a 99-59 victory over Division III Sewanee.
Ewodo added six rebounds and four assists.
Davidson (4-2) scored the game’s first six points and pulled away with a 22-1 run later in the first half.
After Jason Swiney’s reverse layup rallied the Tigers (4-1) to a 13-10 lead with 12:34 remaining, the Wildcats converted 12 free throws in as many attempts during the decisive stretch.
Two free throws by Chadd Holmes capped the effort.
Suwanee closed the margin no closer than 14 points from that stage, as the Wildcats made 17 of 19 free throws and took a 43-27 halftime lead.
Holmes finished with 16 points for the Wildcats, while Landry Kosmalski scored 15 and Mark Donnelly added 12 points.
Ryan Harrigan scored 16 points to pace the Tigers, who converted 38.6 percent from the floor and committed 25 turnovers. Joshua Trahan had 13 and Turner Emery had 11.
