Our beautiful, sweet, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Deborah Ann Chappel Smith, passed away on March 24, 2019 at the age of 65.

She was born on July 8, 1953, the first child to proud and happy parents Ted J and Colleen Milner Chappel. She had two brothers Kim and James and one sister, Karen.

She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Richard Smith on February 12, 1972. They were later sealed at the Provo Temple in July 1983.

Richard and Debbie were blessed with (3) sons, Jeff, Cory and Nicholas. They raised their family in Spanish Fork and moved to Payson 18 years ago.

Deb had many friends, neighbors and extended family that she loved and cherished throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all she came in contact with.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Richard, her son Jeff (Marlo) Smith, grandchildren, Haylie (Colton), Lindsay, Garrett and Easton Smith, her sister Karen (Kelly) Christensen, her brother James (Rachell) Chappel and sister-in-law Shauna Chappel Hatch. Sister-in-laws: Jolynne (Jerald) Chapple, Jill (Jay) Sullivan, Judy (Ron) Daniels and many loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Cory J Smith and Nicholas Chappel Smith, parents Ted J and Colleen Milner Chappel, her brother, Kim Chappel and her in-laws Richard (Dick) and Joan Simons Smith.

Viewings will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah on Thursday, March 28th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, March 29th from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Payson Highline Ward Church, 586 West 1750 South (far South end of Payson Main Street), Payson, Utah prior to services at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow after services at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
