PAROLE VIOLATION INCARCERATIONS-LAWSUIT

KANSAS CITY, Mo. _ Up to 15,000 paroled inmates who were sent back to jail for parole violations could be eligible for relief after a federal judge certified as a class action a lawsuit that argues the inmates were re-incarcerated without hearings or legal representation. SENT: 335 words.

JOPLIN _ Organizers of Missouri’s bicentennial celebration are asking communities to contribute to a quilt and a photography project two years ahead of the event. SENT: 280 words.
