Thoroughbred Racing:

PREAKNESS DRAW

BALTIMORE _ The odds and post positions of the Preakness are determined for a race that is without the top four finishers in the Kentucky Derby, which means the focus turns to Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert and the likely favorite, Improbable. By David Ginsburg. UPCOMING: Developing from 5 p.m. draw; 600 words, photos.

PREAKNESS-HORSES TO WATCH

BALTIMORE _ Disqualified Kentucky Derby winner Maximum Security isn’t running in the Preakness and neither is Country House, the horse who was elevated to first. There’s no shot at a Triple Crown, but Bob Baffert-trained Derby favorite Improbable and War of Will _ who looked prime to run to the front down the stretch at Churchill Downs _ are among the horses to watch in the big race at Pimlico. By Stephen Whyno. UPCOMING: 600 words by 6 p.m., photos, graphic.
