Community college hosting a Women in Technology Day
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — The Manchester Community College is once again hosting a Women in Technology Day.
The goal of Friday’s event is to ensure young women in high school can access the many opportunities that await them in the high-tech sector.
Workshops will showcase opportunities in New Hampshire’s job market now, and experts will offer advice on how to align academic courses with varied career paths. They include robotics, regenerative medicine, tissue printing, forensic science and building a phone “app.”
There will also be workshops on welding, HVAC and electrical technologies.
