Chelmsford Garden Club Scholarship Goes to Bernier

CHELMSFORD -- Emma Bernier, a 2018 graduate of Chelmsford High School, recently received a $1,000 scholarship from the Chelmsford Garden Club.

Emma is attending Framingham State University and hopes to become a marine and environmental biologist. At Chelmsford High, Emma excelled in Advanced Placement Biology and Environmental Science classes.

The Chelmsford Garden Club awards a scholarship annually to a student who is a resident of Chelmsford and a graduate of either Chelmsford High School or Nashoba Valley Technical High School, and who plans to study environmental studies, landscape design, Earth sciences, forestry or watershed protection, agriculture, arboriculture, Horticulture, animal Science, wildlife biology, oceanography or another related field.

The Chelmsford Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts and National Garden Clubs Inc. It’s open to residents of any town and has monthly lunch meetings from October through June, the first Tuesday of each month.
