Parks Township man charged with Leechburg burglary
Leechburg police say home security camera footage shows a Parks Township man burglarizing a Leechburg home last week.
Jerramie Mario Brackman , 35, is accused of breaking into a Market Street home just after 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 19.
Leechburg acting police officer in charge Jason Schaeffer said in court papers Brackman is the man shown in surveillance camera videos.
According to police, one of the cameras show a man pull his vehicle up to the address, walk to the front porch and then into the kitchen at the rear of the home and, later, carrying items to the vehicle.
The residents told police the burglar took about $375 in cash and a Sony PS4 game system.
The man in the video is of the same race and description as Brackman, police said.
In a police report, Brackman alleges that the couple owes him money.
“We don’t know about that. In any event, he didn’t have permission to enter,” Schaeffer said.
Brackman was charged Monday with burglary, criminal trespass-breaking in, theft and receiving stolen property.
Leechburg District Judge James Andring ordered Brackman held in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for Oct. 31.
