Wesco International: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Wesco International Inc. (WCC) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $63.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Pittsburgh-based company said it had profit of $1.45.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.44 per share.
The maker of electrical and industrial maintenance supplies and construction materials posted revenue of $2.15 billion in the period, missing Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.18 billion.
Wesco International expects full-year earnings to be $5 to $5.60 per share.
Wesco International shares have increased roughly 6% since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 17% in the last 12 months.
