Winnebago man sentenced to prison for domestic assault
OMAHA -- A Winnebago, Nebraska, man has been sentenced to two years in prison for domestic assault.
Vincent Decora, 36, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Omaha to committing a domestic assault as a habitual offender. He was sentenced Monday.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Decora, who had three prior assault convictions, punched his domestic partner in the face and torso repeatedly during a two-day period in September 2017.
After completing his prison sentence, Decora will serve a three-year term of supervised release.
