BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (AP) — The death of a homeless man struck and killed by a freight train in Belchertown is not considered suspicious.
The Northwestern district attorney’s office on Thursday identified the man struck just after 9 p.m. Wednesday as Shennan Stevens.
The 38-year-old Stevens was struck by a southbound train on tracks owned by New England Central Railroad. The train remained on scene following the crash.
The death remains under investigation.
