Surveillance video catches man robbing Brooklyn bank with note

BROOKYLN, Ohio — Federal and local authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Brooklyn bank Tuesday morning, police said.

The man entered the Huntington Bank at 4260 Ridge Road just before 9:30 a.m. and handed a bank teller a threatening note, Brooklyn police Chief Scott Mielke said.

The note said “Nobody gets hurt,” or something of that nature, he said.

Stills pulled from a surveillance camera showed the man wearing black medical gloves, a Nike hoodie and black framed glasses.

The man ran away from the bank and down an alley with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Investigators have no suspects, Mielke said.

The man left behind some clothes that investigators intend to test for evidence, police said.

The FBI is assisting in the search for the man. Anyone with information should contact Brooklyn police at 216-749-1234.
