The Pleasanton, Calif.-based provider of electronic-commerce software and services reported a narrower-than-expected first-quarter loss. Its revenues rose on growing demand worldwide for its technology used to build business-to-business marketplaces.

The operator of Web sites and TV programming reported better-than-expected first-quarter earnings.

Informix Corp., down 5 at 11 15/16

The database software maker beat first-quarter earnings’ estimates, but signs of slowing revenue growth worried investors.

Official Payments Corp., down 11 1/2 at 5 1/4

The provider of electronic payment options to government units said its chief financial officer was leaving the company and its first-quarter losses widened compared with a year ago.
