Ludington’s Cartier Park opens for season
On Wednesday, the City of Ludington’s Cartier Park Campground opened for its 2019 season, which will continue through Oct. 15, and some eager campers arrived early in the morning, despite the drizzling rain.
Cartier Park Manager Russ Soper said the campground has at least 72 more reservations scheduled for throughout the season compared to the same time last year. The campground is booking many customers, but there are still campsites available — especially rustic sites, Soper said. It just depends on the week, he explained.
“I’m looking forward to a real good season,” he said.
