Danish court jails nurse suspected of killing 3
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — A Danish court has ruled that a hospital nurse suspected of three murders and an attempt to kill a fourth person at her workplace should remain in custody.
The Eastern High Court confirmed Friday the woman, who cannot be named under a court order, should remain jailed for another 11 days while police investigate.
The woman, who works at the hospital in Nykoebing, 130 kilometers (80 miles) south of Copenhagen, allegedly injected an unknown substance into two men and a woman during the night shift on Feb. 28. It was unclear whether the woman who is alleged to be the fourth victim — who survived — was given an injection.
The nurse, who is in her late 20s, has denied any wrongdoing.
