Arizona prison inmate dies in Florence of apparent suicide
FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say an Arizona prison inmate has died in Florence and it appears to be a suicide.
State Department of Corrections officials say 49-year-old Darrell Mohr died Wednesday.
Staff at the Arizona State Prison Complex-Eyman was conducting a security check and found Mohr in his cell with a bed sheet tied to a bunk rail.
They attempted life-saving measures until paramedics arrived.
Mohr was sent to prison in 2016 after he was convicted out of Maricopa County to five years for aggravated DUI.
