LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Jonas scored twice as Benfica beat Nacional 3-1 to extend its lead of the Portuguese league on Saturday.

Benfica moved six points clear of second-place FC Porto, which hosts Estoril on Monday.

Jonas opened the scoring in the 21st minute from Eduardo Salvio's cross.

Lima headed in Nicolas Gaitan's pass to double the lead on the half-hour mark, and Salvio passed for Jonas to strike again in the 59th.

Nacional's Tiago Rodrigues pulled one back in the 74th.

Elsewhere, third-place Sporting Lisbon drew 1-1 at Pacos Ferreira.

Belenenses also beat Moreirense 2-0 at home, while Penafiel remained in last place after conceding an injury-time goal in a 2-2 draw with visitors Boavista.
