Pleasant Hill tops South Umpqua, 4-1

PLEASANT HILL — Alicia Duchateau scored four goals as Pleasant Hill defeated South Umpqua, 4-1, Monday in a nonleague girls soccer game.

Sophomore Madison Shepherd scored in the 75th minute for the Lancers (0-1) off an assist from freshman Josie Maddux. Junior goalkeeper Kyla Pires made 15 saves. Coach Kami Wright said junior Hannah Lowell had a strong offensive game for S.U.

S.U. will host Creswell on Thursday in a nonleague contest.
