NEW YORK (AP) _ Chris Allbritton, an editor on the International Desk of The Associated Press and a former newspaper technology writer, has been named a national writer specializing in cyberspace.
The appointment was announced today by Enterprise Editor Bruce DeSilva.
Allbritton, 28, joined the AP earlier this year. A native of Little Rock, Ark., he previously worked for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Little Rock, where he covered technology, and for The Sentinel-Record in Hot Springs, Ark.
Allbritton earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and a master’s from the Columbia University School of Journalism.
