Provo man arrested for allegedly groping resident at Provo assisted living center
The Provo Police Department arrested a man who reportedly yelled at staff at an assisted living facility and then groped a woman living there.
Tony Deberry, 35, was booked in Utah County Jail on suspicion of two counts of sexual battery, both class A misdemeanors.
The incident occurred Monday afternoon at Country View Assisted Living in Provo, according to a police report.
The staff at the facility told police that Deberry was yelling at them in the hallway. One of the residents was standing near the staff, police reported.
Deberry allegedly walked next to the resident and grabbed her inappropriately twice before she ran into her room with staff members, the report stated.
Deberry is being held on a $2,500 bond at the Utah County Jail.
