Florence Republicans to hear talk on personhood

FLORENCE, S.C. – The monthly meeting of the Florence County Republican Party will feature Dr. Matthew Clark.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. today at the Floyd Conference Center on the campus of MUSC Health-Florence Medical School (formerly Carolinas Hospital System).

Clark is expected to speak on personhood.

He works as an allergist and is ordained in the Covenant Presbyterian Church. He serves as the pastor of Foothills Christian Assembly in Edgefield. He and his wife have 11 children, three of whom are adopted.

There will be light refreshments starting at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public.
