Iowa man gets 20 years in child enticement case
BOSTON (AP) — An Iowa man who convinced a Massachusetts mother to pose her 10-year-old daughter nude in order to get a modeling contract has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Joshua Dunfee, of Oxford Junction, Iowa, was also sentenced to five years of probation on Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Boston.
The 32-year-old Dunfee pleaded guilty to enticement of a child to engage in illicit sexual activity and the sexual exploitation of a child to produce child pornography.
Prosecutors say he met the Attleboro woman online in October 2011 and told her he was a professional photographer. He persuaded her to pose her daughter nude to get a lucrative mother-daughter bikini modeling contract.
Dunfee’s lawyer argued for a lighter sentence, saying he never sought physical contact.
