PARAGON, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say three adults were killed and two children injured when a car went off a road and plunged into a ravine in rural central Indiana.
The crash happened Sunday night near the Morgan County town of Paragon, about 30 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department says the car missed the turn at a T-intersection, falling an estimated 100 feet before coming to a stop against trees.
Paragon Fire Chief William Davis says two boys, ages 8 and 4, were hurt in the crash. They were flown by helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment.
Authorities didn’t immediately release the identities of those killed.
