Orchids and Onions: Saturday, May 4, 2019

May 4, 2019

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to those who showed care and compassion during my sisters back surgery. My hats off to the girls at Mahjong. My sister is very fortunate to have friends like you. Ranger Terry.

Onions to Lake Havasu City for not installing left turn lights at the intersections off Highway 95. The money that is being spent on Lake Havasu Avenue would have been much better spent at these intersections.

Orchids to Tract 1082 Homeowners Association President-Erdean Johnson for his efforts working with Mohave County to repaint the yellow traffic stripes on Lake Drive in Desert Hills. Job well done!

Onions to the lady walking her dog in the hardware store. The dog jumped at me with both paws on my shoulders. She did not even say sorry, but walked away talking to her dog instead. A sad case lady! M.H.

Orchids to PB&J Water for their generous donation of drink cozies to the Masonic Lodge for our fundraiser at Patty Fest.

Onions to greedy people. Take accountability for your actions and stop blaming people who had nothing to do with it. Sabotaging good people will not serve you well. Pity and playing victim is not a good look. Karma happens.

Orchids to Kitchen Tuneups. Awesome company to work with, very professional, so helpful and I can’t say enough about what great owners they are. We love our new cabinets and sure made our kitchen look better and updated. Highly recommend.

Onions to no cleavage. He needs a good kick in the libido. He is not abreast of the times or is missing a couple points of view. Then again, he may be just a big boob.

Orchids to the wonderful woman that found my phone on a bench in Rotary Park. I send a big hug, thanks for turning it into Sprint!

Onions to the man in our apartment complex, with a ‘shrunken baboon head’ hanging from car rearview mirror. I’m afraid to go near the vehicle. So are the children. You told one resident it’s made of rubber. I’m not convinced it isn’t real. Both eyes glow at night. The apartment manager has been informed.

Orchids to all of the amazing young ladies as Hospice of Havasu. You all were angels to our family. Thank you and God bless each and every one of you.
