Man shot in the face in St. Paul expected to survive
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Officials say a man is expected to survive after he was shot in the face in a St. Paul parking lot.
The Pioneer Press reports that St. Paul police spokesman Sgt. Mike Ernster said officers were called to the location early Saturday because of reported gunfire. Officers found several bullet casings and two vehicles hit by gunshots.
Ernster says officers were processing the scene when they were told a man who had been shot in the face had arrived at a St. Paul hospital in a personal vehicle. Hospital staff says the man is expected to live.
Ernster says the investigation is continuing and no arrests have been made.
