Seven Attorneys Admitted To Association For New Year

Seven area attorneys were admitted for the 2019 new year as members of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association/the bar association of Luzerne County at an en banc Court of Common Pleas ceremony at the Luzerne County Courthouse recently. The attorneys and their sponsors included attorney Peter J. Adonizio, moved by former President Judge Joseph M. Augello; attorney Carly A. Hislop, moved by attorney Colleen Horn Doyle; attorney Frederick L. Lokuta, moved by attorney Lawrence M. Klemow; attorney Tracy L. Murray, moved by Judge Michael T. Vough; attorney Zachary J. C. Watkins, moved by President Judge Richard M. Hughes III; attorney Catharine P. Wong, moved by Luzerne County Chief Public Defender, attorney Steven Greenwald, and attorney Ashley Zingaretti, moved by former W-BLLA president, attorney Richard M. Goldberg. The ceremony was presided over by President Judge Richard M. Hughes III. Association president, attorney Jane M. Acri, and president of the Young Lawyers’ Division, attorney Mary V. Deady, addressed the admitted attorneys, while association treasurer and secretary, attorney Joseph P.J. Burke III, distributed to them a New Year’s welcome package.
