Aug. 14

In the 100 block of Gary Street, police investigated a report of an assault. Property was found to have been vandalized. The investigation was ongoing as of the date of the report.

Aug. 20

Lionardo Ramirez, 30, was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant in the 1400 block of E. 12th Street.

Aug. 22

In the 1700 block of Eight Avenue, Catalino Varela, 30, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Aug. 23

In the 1300 block of First Avenue, Amanda Gonzales, 30, of Scottsbluff, was cited on a charge of possession of stolen property.

Shara Seiffert, 24, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dennis Merton Cross III, 22, of Alliance, was arrested on a Box Butte County warrant.

Scottsbluff Police took a report of fraud by false pretenses. Further details were not available in the media report.

Police took a report of a man becoming a victim of a scam. The man reported a loss of $1,990.

In the 1700 block of Avenue N, Tasha Knaub, 37, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault.

Avery Wheeler, 22, was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant and on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Elijah Blanco, 18, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant.

Reginald Douglas, 25, of Fort Collins, Colo., was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police investigated a vandalism at McCaffree Park.

Aug. 26

Scottsbluff Police investigated a vandalism in the 1700 block of Fourth Avenue.

Jonathan Quesada-Castro, 29, of Aurora, Colorado, was arrested on charges of no operators’ license and improper lane change.

A 17-year-old girl of Gering was arrested on a charge of vandalism.

In the 3100 block of 18th Avenue, police investigated a theft.

Pablo Longoria, 26, of Scottsbluff, was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue.

Police investigated a report of threats made by an individual at a Gering business.

Aug. 27

Police investigated a disturbance in the 400 block of M Street. An arrest was not noted in the media report.

Aug. 28

Police arrested Laura Okpalaejesi, 28, on a Scotts Bluff County warrant.

Police investigated a report of domestic assault made at the Gering Police station.

Police investigated a report of threats being made by phone.

Police investigated a report of theft from a student’s locker. The school was not identified in the media report.

Aug. 29

Police investigated a disturbance in the 00 block of D Street at about 12:10 p.m.

Aug. 31

Police investigated a report of issuing insufficient checks at Fresh Foods grocery store. An arrest or citation were not noted.

Officers investigated a report of a juvenile starting a fight with a driver at the intersection of 12th Street and Q Street. No arrest or citation were noted.

Sept. 1

Police investigated a report of theft by shoplifting at Dollar General. No arrest or citations were noted; investigation is ongoing.

Police investigated an assault involving a child in the 1900 block of Fifth Street.

Police took a report of found property. The property was returned to the owner.

Sept. 2

Stephen Williams, 39, was arrested on a Scotts Bluff County warrant.
