DUBLIN, Ireland (AP) _ Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien is sending his three top horses _ Rock of Gibraltar, High Chaparral and Hawk Wing _ to the Breeders’ Cup.

O’Brien nominated 10 horses from his Ballydoyle stables for the Oct. 26 races at Arlington Park.

Rock of Gibraltar won his seventh consecutive Group 1 race at the Prix du Moulin in France last month. Along with Hawk Wing, winner of the Eclipse Stakes, the two were nominated for both the Breeders’ Cup Mile and the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

O’Brien prefers the Mile for Rock of Gibraltar, and the 1 1/4-mile Classic for Hawk Wing.

``But that doesn’t mean the situation cannot change,″ the trainer said.

High Chaparral, winner of the English and Irish derbies and third-place finisher in L’Arc de Triomphe, was entered for the 1 1/2-mile Turf.

Last year, O’Brien ran seven horses in the Breeders’ Cup at Belmont, with Johannesburg winning the Juvenile.

O’Brien nominated five for the Juvenile _ Hold That Tiger, Tomahawk, Van Nistelrooy, Ontario and Marino Marini. All five colts are among O’Brien’s 11 entries for the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

``A lot of other things will have to be taken into consideration before we finalize plans for the Juvenile,″ he said.

Landseer is set for the Mile, and Reach For The Moon will go in the Juvenile Fillies.

Also, Michael Stoute has entered Golan for the Turf and Islington for the Filly & Mare Turf.
