Worcester stabbing victim uncooperative with police

March 9, 2015

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Worcester police say a man stabbed over the weekend has been uncooperative with investigating officers.

Officers responded to reports of the stabbing at a Laurel Street apartment just before midnight Saturday. The 24-year-old victim had stab wounds to his upper body but was conscious and alert when police arrived.

He was taken to UMass Medical Center for treatment of wounds not considered life threatening.

The victim was interviewed at the scene and at the hospital. Police say in both interviews he provided very little information and “was overall uncooperative.”

This investigation is ongoing and there have been no arrests.
