EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) _ Rookie Henrik Sedin scored at 9:42 of the third period to give the Vancouver Canucks a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Friday night.

Vancouver captain Markus Naslund scored twice and raised his season totals to 24 goals and 44 points. Andrew Cassels set up both Naslund goals.

Domenic Pittis and Anson Carter scored for Edmonton, which outshot the Canucks 30-18.

The Oilers dominated most of the first period and took an early lead on Carter's goal 1:13 in. Naslund tipped in a shot by Ed Jovanovski to tie the game at 14:45.

Naslund gave Vancouver a 2-1 lead at 4:59 of the second period when he beat goalie Tommy Salo high on the blocker side.

Pittis tied the game at 2, at 16:05 of the second, when he banged a rebound past goaltender Bob Essensa.

Vancouver has won six of its last eight games.
