Human Trafficking forum is Wednesday
NEW CARLISLE — Human Trafficking is an industry generating 38 billion dollars a year — second only to drug trafficking.

More likely is the fact that a child is feeling vulnerable and expresses these feeling on social media, which opens possibilities to lure a child with false promises. How do we protect children?
On Wednesday a forum with representatives from Rahab’s Daughters (https://www.rahabsdaughters.org) and Destiny Rescue (https://www.destinyrescue.org/us) will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 6655E CR-1000N, New Carlisle, to share information which will include social media warnings, how to identify possible trafficking and how to help those who have been freed.
Psychologist Debbie Lassicter and survivors Carolyn Bonds and Sharmila Wijeyakumar will be among the forum presenters. There will also be a time for questions.
