MONROE, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of the two people who died in a fire at a Hudson Valley home.

State police say a 911 call reported a fire around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the Orange County town of Monroe, 45 miles (72 kilometers) northwest of New York City.

Troopers say firefighters were able to enter the burning home through the back door and found two people dead inside. They've been identified as Kimberly Beauregard and Robert Doremus, both 54.

Police say foul play isn't suspected. Autopsies have been conducted and the cause of death will be determined pending toxicology results.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
