Redskins-Eagles, Week 17: How to watch, TV channel, what time

December 29, 2018

The Washington Redskins’ season is about to come to what many fans might consider a merciful end.

The offseason will bring plenty of news and speculation, but Sunday will be the last time the Redskins hit the field until next preseason. Here’s how to watch and what you need to know.

Opponent: Philadelphia Eagles (8-7)

Where: FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland

When: Sunday, Dec. 30, 4:25 p.m.

Television: FOX

Radio: The Team 980

What to watch for: This could be the final game in a Redskins uniform for many players. Notably, Preston Smith, Pernell McPhee and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix are entering the offseason with contracts expiring. So is Adrian Peterson, but he recently said he wants to return to Washington ... The Eagles need to win this game and hope the Minnesota Vikings lose to the Chicago Bears in order to clinch the sixth and final playoff seed in the NFC. If nothing else, the Redskins could end the year playing spoiler for the defending Super Bowl champs ... After the release of D.J. Swearinger before Christmas, Deshazor Everett is expected to start alongside Ha Ha Clinton-Dix at safety for Washington ... The NFL flexed this game, along with a few others, from the 1 p.m. slate to a 4:25 kickoff time.
