The word of the week: Targetvu

December 18, 2018

Pronunciation: tar-zhah voo

Definition: When you run into a friend at Target, chat, say goodbye and then encounter them again in the next aisle. (Submitted by Bob Anderson)

Sample usage: If I dont want that strained feeing of Targetvu, Id better power through the meat aisle and head to self-checkout now, because shes heading for produce.

Quality: This is an excellent word. Its something we experience far more than djandagrave; vu. Now we need a word for the way you pretend not to see the other person after the third time you cross paths.
