Florence Republicans to hear talk

FLORENCE, S.C. – The monthly meeting of the Florence County Republican Party will feature Dr. Matthew Clark.

Clark is expected to speak on personhood.

He works as an allergist, and is ordained in the Covenant Presbyterian Church serving as the pastor of Foothills Christian Assembly in Edgefield. He and his wife have 11 children, three of whom are adopted.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Monday at the Floyd Conference Center on the campus of MUSC Health-Florence (formerly Carolinas Hospital System). There will be light refreshments starting 6:30 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public.
