Bertos to Attend Boston University on Soccer Scholarship

December 20, 2018

DEDHAM -- Noble and Greenough School junior center midfielder Kiley Bertos has verbally committed to attend Boston University on a women’s soccer scholarship beginning in the fall of 2020.

Bertos, a Bedford resident, is following in the footsteps of her father, Mike, who is a former Lowell High and Boston University men’s soccer standout. Mike Bertos is a member of Lowell High’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

This fall Kiley Bertos scored one goal and added 11 assists while helping Nobles post an 18-1 record en route to winning the Independent School League title and the NEPSAC Class A crown.

Her grandfather, John Bertos, was a goalkeeper/coach with the Lowell Astros semi-pro club in the early-1960s. From the late-1960s through the mid-1970s, John Bertos served as the owner, coach and general manager while the Astros, who called Fall River, Boston and Worcester home, played in the American Soccer League.
