AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) _ Malik Sealy, signed as a free agent during the offseason, scored 19 points Wednesday night to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 104-84 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Grant Hill added 17 points and Lindsey Hunter 16 for the Pistons. Terry Dehere led the Kings with 13, Billy Owens and Olden Polynice had 12 each, and Mitch Richmond had 11 before being ejected in the third quarter.

The Pistons controlled from the opening tip, taking a 31-22 lead in the first quarter behind 10 points from Hunter and eight from Hill and pushing it to 52-38 at halftime.

Sacramento made its best run of the night in the third, closing to 68-59 with 2:30 to play in the quarter. Richmond, who had been leading the rally, was called for a charging foul by official Doug Shows and responded by throwing the ball at Shows, hitting him in the legs.

Shows gave Richmond a technical and lead official Hugh Evans ejected him for hitting an official. Moments later, Shows hit Sacramento's Michael Smith with a technical and Detroit moved the lead back to 79-61 at the end of the quarter.

The Pistons led by as many as 25 in the final quarter.
