BERLIN (AP) — German police say a 29-year-old Scotsman is missing in Hamburg after celebrating his brother's bachelor party with a group of friends.

Police spokesman Rene Schoenhardt said Monday the man disappeared while he was out in the city's Reeperbahn district that's home to many bars and nightclubs. He confirmed the missing man's name as Liam Colgan, in line with a missing person's report posted on Facebook.

Family members wrote on Facebook that Colgan has been missing since early Saturday when he was last seen at the Hamborger Veermaster bar.

Schoenhardt said searches of the area's bars and interviews with people had turned up no clues and that they are now planning to publicize the case on the radio and distribute missing persons pictures.
