March 14, 2019

State Rep. Matt Dowling will be hosting his annual small business seminar from 6 to 8 p.m. March 21 at the Laurel Business Institute, 11 E. Penn St., Uniontown.

“Starting or maintaining your own business can prove to be quite difficult at times,” Dowling, R-Uniontown, said in a press release. “This seminar builds a bridge between our community small business owners and local and state agencies, allowing them to openly discuss their questions and concerns about operating or establishing their business in our area.”

Current or aspiring small business owners and managers are encouraged to attend this seminar, which will focus on the best practices and methods for operating or launching a small business. A resource panel with the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, Fay-Penn Economic Development Council and Somerset Trust Co., which includes local and state agency representatives, will be available to answer questions.
