Jack Cagle has a lead over Democrat Penny Shaw for the position of Harris County Pct. 4 Commissioner, which serves areas of Spring, Tomball and Cypress Creek.Klein ISDThe Klein ISD school board Position 3 candidate, Chris “CT” Todd, currently has a lead over candidates Seth Batiste and Vijay Patel.Position 4 incumbent trustee Steve Szymczak has a lead of less than 1 percent over candidate Julie Benes. Both so far have the lead over candidate Wade G. Fennel.Ronnie K Anderson runs unopposed for Position 5.Cypress Klein Utility DistrictEarly votes so far favor Cypress Klein Utility District’s election to implement a 15-cent tax per $100 valuation of property for maintenance and operations.The utility district encompasses Wimbledon Estates & Racquet Club, the Wimbledon Centre Court Estates, Wimbledon Park, Wimbledon Forest and Wimbledon Centre Court. The district also serves Collins Park, Barbara Bush Library and the Precinct 4, Place 1 courthouse.
