Dallas Man Indicted On Drug Charges

A Dallas man was indicted Tuesday on federal charges alleging he illegally possessed firearms and was involved in drug trafficking in Luzerne County, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Bruce Redmond, 30, is accused of illegally possessing a shot-barrelled shotgun, a stolen firearm, making false statements in connection with firearm purchases, possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and aiding the distribution of suboxone. If convicted, Redmond faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison for the drug offenses and 10 years imprisonment for the weapons charges. — JAMES HALPIN
