Police: Man dead, passenger critically injured after crash
HINGHAM, Mass. (AP) — Police say a Quincy man is dead and another has been critically injured after a two-car crash in Hingham.
It happened around 10:20 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Kilby Street and Route 3A. Police say a 51-year-old man was heading north in a Ford Ranger and drove into the path of a Nissan Pathfinder.
The man was partially ejected from the vehicle after it was hit by the Nissan. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His passenger, a 61-year-old Quincy man, was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police say the men weren’t wearing their seatbelts. They weren’t immediately identified.
The driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries. No charges have been filed in the crash. Police are investigating.
