2 arrested for reservation stabbing in Shawano County
TOWN OF BARTELME, Wis. (AP) — Two people have been arrested for a stabbing on the Stockbridge-Munsee Indian Reservation.
Sheriff’s officials and reservation police responded to a home in the Town of Bartelme Sunday about 1 p.m. They found a 29-year-old woman had been stabbed. She was taken to ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano and was expected to recover.
A 46-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were taken into custody in the Village of Bowler. A motive for the stabbing wasn’t disclosed.
